REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OPEN CALL No.13 Salón ACME

Open from August 19 to September 28, 2025

How to apply?

  1. Create an account at www.salonacme.com.
  2. Complete the application form with the following:
    • Personal information
    • CV and short bio
    • Portfolio
    • The artwork(s) you wish to submit

General Requirements

  • There is no application fee.
  • Open to artists of all ages, nationalities, and backgrounds (individuals or collectives).
  • You may submit 1 to 3 works, preferably already produced.
  • All formats and media are welcome.
  • The maximum price per work is $100,000 MXN (excluding VAT). In case of sale: 60% for the artist, 40% for Salón ACME.
  • Works recently shown at other art fairs will not be accepted.
  • For installations or polyptychs, pricing can be assigned per piece.
  • Applications will only be accepted through the online platform and must be submitted by the deadline.

Important Notes

  • You can edit your application until September 28, 2025 by sending an email to info@salonacme.com to reactivate your application.
  • Incomplete submissions at the time of closing will be disqualified.
  • If selected, the information you provide will be used for promotional purposes (catalogs, labels, social media, etc.).
  • Selected artists are responsible for shipping their work to the venue: Calle General Prim 30, Col. Juárez, 06600, Mexico City (CDMX).
  • Salón ACME will handle installation, logistics, promotion, and sales with the support of a professional team.
  • The results will be announced via email and on our social media in December 2025. Follow us on social media.

Recommendations

  • Make sure your texts and images accurately represent your work—they will be used by our communications and sales team.
  • Pricing should include packaging and shipping costs.
  • Keep in mind the venue walls have various colors and textures.
  • Research the Curatorial Board to learn more about who will be reviewing your work.
